Africology is a South African skincare brand rooted in natural ingredients, holistic healing, and sustainable wellness. This project reimagines how Africology can translate its serene, pampering experience into the digital space through an intuitive competition microsite. By blending soothing visuals, user-friendly interactions, and the brand’s mindful values, the microsite aims to raise awareness, encourage participation, and offer users an effortless entry experience that mirrors Africology’s gentle, nurturing approach to skincare.
The Challenge
The key challenge was creating a digital experience that genuinely reflects Africology’s holistic, tranquil identity while still meeting the functional demands of an online competition. The microsite needed to feel calming yet compelling, visually rich yet minimal, and informative without overwhelming users. Balancing brand storytelling with clear, intuitive interaction design was essential—ensuring that users could enter effortlessly, avoid confusion or friction, and feel cared for throughout the experience, just as they would with Africology’s physical products.
